Today HP unveiled the HP Chromebook11 and the HP Chromebook14, two devices made in close collaboration with Google that are appropriate for use by educators and students in the classroom.

The two notebook computers offer portabilitity, a thermal-bonded magnesium design that protects against everyday bumps, and wide-angle viewing capability of the IPS display.

The Chromebook11 features an 11-inch screen, weight of 2.3 pounds, and up to 100GB of Google Cloud Storage. It will be available on October 16, starting at $279.

The Chromebook14 features a 14-inch screen along with optional 4G connectivity, the Google Chrome (TM) OS and access to Google Chrome apps. It will be available in November for $299.
