Abraham Lincoln’s Crossroads

2/11/2014 5:00:00 PM
Play this game for older middle school and high school students that explores the many political choices Lincoln had to make as a candidate for senator, and as president. You are encouraged to find out about the issues, make a decision, and see if your decision was the same as Lincoln’s. Learn about Lincoln’s decision to suspend habeas corpus, to allow black troops to serve in the Union Army, to deal with the draft riots, and to support the 13th amendment. This site is extremely well-done. The documentation is strong, the references are many, and the resources invaluable.
