NEA: Read Across America

3/1/2013 12:00:00 AM
The National Education Association offers a one-stop site to help plan for Read Across America Day. You will find activity ideas, the Read Across America oath, song, and poem, and many resources to get children reading. Involve middle school and high school students by staging poetry slams and reader’s theaters, or encouraging them to read to elementary age students. Find tips for reading aloud, and book lists for many different kinds of reading.
