Actor and Humanitarian Ashley Judd to Deliver ISTE 2014 Opening Keynote

The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE®) announced today that actor Ashley Judd will give the opening keynote at ISTE 2014. Actor America Ferrera, previously scheduled to speak, is unable to attend due to a scheduling conflict.

Judd, who will deliver the opening keynote on Saturday, June 28, has starred in more than 20 films, as well as on Broadway and television. Her humanitarian work includes serving as a board member, advocate and activist for poverty alleviation, public health, human rights and social justice.

On Monday, June 30, Kevin Carroll, author of “Rules of the Red Rubber Ball,” will deliver the second keynote of the conference and on Tuesday, July 1, 2013 National Teacher of the Year, Jeffrey Charbonneau, will close ISTE 2014.
