HP today announced thin client software that provides loss-less video and graphics presentation from the cloud. The HP True Graphics software offloads multimedia content to local hardware decoders to boost the efficiency of cloud computing devices and infrastructure. It allows users to view and manipulate cloud-based 3D1 multimedia content with smooth video, high frame rates, and improved real-time keyboard and mouse interactivity.

HP True Graphics will be included on select HP Thin Clients, or can be added with a free download. HP True Graphics is currently supported on HP’s t520 and t620 platforms with either ThinPro Linux or SmartZero Core. The software currently accelerates rich content in a Citrix® XenApp/XenDesktop environment.
