Carol Frericks will take over as superintendent in the Western C.U.S.D. #12 in Barry, Ill. She replaces Rodger Hannel, who is retiring in June.
The job is the first as superintendent for Frericks, who has directed the literacy program and the Response to Intervention program at McLean County Unit District 5 since the 2009-10 school year.
