We can help our teachers maximize their potential. As professional developers, we can guide teachers so they take the responsibility of achieving their goals and still remain able to handle the activities that they encounter on a daily basis.

• Be a coach, mentor or guide who gently pushes your teachers to take their next step to reach their goals.
• Model strategies or activities that teachers can replicate or adapt.
• Unlearn what does not work. All of us have a bag of tricks that we have used for years. If you have not been in the classroom for some time
• Dream bigger. As someone from the outside, you can see the bigger picture.
