Skyward, Inc. announced today the addition of Sublette County School District #1 in Wyoming to the list of more than 1,600 school districts worldwide that use Skyward to manage student and business administrative information.
Sublette selected the Skyward School Business Suite to manage all district financial and human resources activities. The district will be the first in Wyoming to power its business administrative database with Skyward products.
In Sublette’s search for a business information system, the district’s superintendent, Jay Harnack, sought out a system that could proactively streamline district operational efficiency. Harnack noted that the district will benefit from a comprehensive and flexible system that enables the consolidation of programs into one database.
With the comprehensive School Business Suite, Sublette will gain an integrated finance and human resource software package that allows the district to manage annual budgets, employee pay and purchasing from a single, centralized database. Harnack and other district leaders are excited to see cost and employee time savings with Skyward.
Harnack’s past use of the system was also key to Sublette’s decision to choose Skyward. “I used Skyward previously in Illinois and was always impressed with the program,” said Harnack. The district plans to have the new system fully operational by January 2014.
