The National September 11 Memorial & Museum has partnered with the New York City Department of Education and the New Jersey Commission on Holocaust Education to develop a robust set of 9/11 lessons for K-12 classrooms. Included are plans grouped according to grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12; teaching guides; tips for talking to children about 9/11; video interviews with scholars and experts accompanied by study guides; and links to primary sources. An excellent resource to help teach a very difficult topic.
