This teacher’s lab from Annenberg Learner looks at geometry not in the abstract, but in its concrete aspects. Reading the background material explains why geometry is best studied as a reflection of math that is important in real life. There are three interactive activities in both the shape center and the space center. Identify the properties of shape and their measurements and visualize how things look in space. This is certainly challenging to middle school students and high school students in basic math classes.
