Offering your students open-ended prompts results in some interesting writing. Scholastic provides PDF files with templates for origami boxes with fifteen prompts to complete, such as “I feel proud when...,” “I feel grumpy when...,” and “I feel strong when....” Three of the templates are in color, and one has repeat prompts, but it allows kids to express their artistic side too by giving them the opportunity to color in the panels.
