A free guide to minerals and gemstones, this site basic information along with photographs and resources. The Gallery offers photos of gems and minerals with details of how they are sorted, classified and grouped in different ways. Some of the site is still under construction, indicating an expansion, but there is plenty to get started, with other online resources to serve as supplements.

How to use the site:
The basic toolbar appears on the left with a Gallery, Glossary, Resources, and link to Minerals A-Z. Many links include photographs with explanations of each mineral or gem. The Display method section of the site offers some insights as to how gems and minerals are grouped by experts.
