Scientific Learning Corp. today announces the availability of the Reading Assistant™ program on the iPad. Reading Assistant uses speech recognition technology to correct students as they read aloud. The software provides individualized reading coaching to beginning readers, struggling readers and English language learners.

Now available in the iTunes App Store, the new app enables K-12 schools with a Reading Assistant program license to provide the program to students through a new medium. With the app, students can log in and work on Reading Assistant at school, at home or anywhere with an Internet connection.
