Desire2Learn launching K-12 video contest

Desire2Learn is creating a video contest for kids to share their greatest achievements and accomplishments from the previous school year and win a $2,000 education grant in the process.

On June 19th, the contest kicks off. Parents are encouraged to submit a 30-second YouTube video of their child describing, in their own words, what they learned during this past school year. A panel of judges from Desire2Learn will be selecting the top videos which will be posted to Desire2Learn’s Facebook page. Parents and teachers will also be given tools to “share” their videos with their friends to help garner votes, and check their progress daily. The top vote-getter will receive the grant. Visit Desire2Learn for more information.
