Today Pearson announced the release of PowerSchool 8.0, the latest version of the company’s student information system. 

PowerSchool 8.0 now includes enhanced customization capabilities, a new Document Attachments capability, enhancements to the PowerTeacher 2.8 gradebook, improved Field Level Security, and improved search capabilities in PowerSearch

PowerSchool 8.0 is compatible with the new PowerSchool Special Education, an optional special education module that integrates TIENET’s individualized education plan (IEP) tracking and special education case management with the student information system. 

PowerSchool 8.0 is available to all current customers as part of the PowerSchool maintenance and support program, and can be downloaded through the Pearson PowerSource program. To learn more, visit http://www.pearsonschoolsystems.com/products/powerschool/.
