Question: Is Windows Moviemaker 2 the best free software program for students to use when creating digital storytelling projects on Windows-based computers?

The IT Guy says:
Probably not. Microsoft has released the free Photo Story 3 software program that looks like a better choice. According to Microsoft, “Photo Story 3 includes features that enable you to create a slideshow with your digital pictures, edit your pictures, create your story with original music, add narration, and share them with your family and friends.” Sharing the digital stories includes the ability to burn your completed projects directly to DVD from within Photo Story. This functionality is similar to the iLife suite of software programs for Macintosh computers, including iPhoto, iMovie, and iDVD.
