Historical Thinking Skills Interactives: Reading Maps

Students can learn much about how the world used to be perceived by studying old maps. This set of activities looks at three elements of map-making and map reading - perspective, symbols and data - and help students see that maps reflect both the knowledge and requirements of their makers.
