October is National Bullying Prevention Month with October 9 designated as the day to “Unite Against Bullying.” The National Bullying Prevention Center offers multiple resources to combat bullying. Included are lesson plans, stories, videos, songs, and games. There is also a section just for Teens Against Bullying that has information on how peer intervention can be an effective way to prevent bullying. The Resources section includes bullying facts and information, educator toolkits, educational activities, and information about bullying and harassment of students with disabilities.
