Geography is often given short shrift in curriculum today. A set of programs, offered by Annenberg Learner, looks at the Power of Place, Geography for the 21st Century. This first program presents a video which looks at how geography can address unity and division in the world today, and how the regions of the world can be analyzed through concepts of geography. Each program includes a video, maps, questions, and a discussion of geographic themes.
