Two Global Winners in Space Lab Science Competition

Lenovo and YouTube officially announced the two winners in the Space Lab global science competition, which challenged 14-18 year-olds from around the world to design a science experiment that can be performed in space.

The two winners, hailing from the U.S. and Egypt, will have their experiments performed 250 miles above Earth aboard the International Space Station (ISS) and live streamed on YouTube as part of a global event celebrating science and space. In addition to having their experiments performed in space, the winners will also receive a once-in-a-lifetime space experience – either a trip to Japan to watch their experiment blast off in a rocket bound for the ISS, or an astronaut training experience in Star City, Russia, the training center for Russian cosmonauts.
