eInstruction today announced the judging panel for its fifth annual Classroom Makeover Video Contest. The group, which includes recognized leaders in the fields of education and technology, will choose three classrooms to win interactive classroom makeovers worth up to $79,000 each. For consideration, videos must be submitted to the official contest website, http://www.2011classroommakeover.com, no later than 12:00 p.m. on October 25, 2011.

Members of the 2011 Classroom Makeover judging panel are:

•Mario Armstrong - Emmy-award winning radio and television technology talk show host, commentator and digital lifestyle expert, and founder of the education technology site TechTechBoom!

•Steven W. Anderson - #EdChat Co-Creator and Instructional Technologist at Clemmons Middle School in North Carolina.

•Sarah Wessling - A 12-year veteran of the high school English Language Arts classroom, and has enjoyed working with students throughout a spectrum of courses.

•John Wilson - Appointed the Executive Director for the National Education Association (NEA) in 2000.

•Shelly Terrell - The VP of Educator Outreach for Parentella and Social Media Community Manager for The Consultants-E.

•Punya Mishra – A professor of Educational Psychology and Education Technology at Michigan State University, where he also directs the Master of Arts in Educational Technology program.

•Gregg Festa - Named “2007 Educational Technologist of the Year” from the New Jersey Association for Educational Technology.

•Kurt Eisele-Dyrli - Products Editor for District Administration magazine for the past three years, and currently Communications Manager for Professional Media group, publisher of District Administration and University Business magazines, publications for education leaders around the country.
