Adobe Creative Cloud, Portfolio, Distance Learning Hub
Adobe is offering Creative Cloud application access at no additional charge to all students and teachers from August 24, 2020 through January 31, 2021 for current U.S. K-12 volume license customers. For higher education and 2020 college graduates, Adobe is granting free access to Adobe Portfolio for one year. Adobe’s Distance Learning Hub provides practical teaching and learning resources.

Big History Project is a free, online social studies course that emphasizes skill development such as writing and critical thinking, as students draw connections between past, present and future. 

Black Box Education
Digital and interactive resources for drama, dance and theatre, with six free resource packs for digital, online schooling.

Boardmaker is a collection of standardized picture symbols used for communication with students who are strong visual learners, including those with autism spectrum disorders, Down Syndrome, speech and language disorders, and behavioral disorders. Cloud Stop Motion
Cloud Stop Motion is free for individuals, schools and organizations. For schools closed due to the virus outbreak, the company offers extra cloud storage for the duration of the disruption. Sign up for a free school account and contact the company to request more storage.

CMU CS Academy
Provides a free, online, interactive textbook for high school and middle school teachers to use to teach computer science in their classrooms.

The CommonLit Literacy Model is built on a foundation of over 2,000 high-quality free reading passages for grades 3-12, complemented by aligned interim assessments, growth-oriented data, and expert-led teacher development.

Compassion Project
The Compassion Project is a national initiative to provide compassion education to elementary school students across the US. This year's Compassion Project Challenge will take place in November.

Council of the Great City Schools
The Council of the Great City Schools has published a free report, "Addressing Unfinished Learning After COVID-19 School Closures," which reviews essentials to improve access to learning when students transition to higher grades and topics in mathematics and English language arts. The document also provides six strategies for addressing unfinished learning overall.

Course Hero

Data Classroom
DataClassroom is a web app that allows students in grades 6-12 to make graphs (line, bar, box plots, dot plots, etc.) and do basic statistical analysis. This activity uses data from the 1918 influenza pandemic to illustrate why schools are closing in an attempt to flatten the curve. Start a free 90-day trial to create classes with student accounts. Data Nuggets
